Parian Village
The name Parian Village reflects both the location of the hotel and the architectural vision behind its development. Inspired by the traditional settlements of Paros, the property was conceived as an authentic interpretation of a Cycladic village, where simplicity, harmony, and light define the experience.
Built amphitheatrically on a gentle slope right after the sandy beach of Livadia in Parikia, Paros, the complex unfolds through seven whitewashed buildings with clean, minimalist lines that blend harmoniously with traditional arches, stone-paved walkways, marble stairways, and spacious verandas.
The hotel's privileged location ensures peace, privacy, and sweeping views over the bay of Parikia, while its natural orientation offers shelter from the Aegean winds - transforming the property into a serene retreat perfectly integrated into the island's landscape.
Connecting Spaces: The Village Layout
A defining architectural feature of Parian Village is its central stone staircase, elegantly descending from the upper levels down to the pool and beach, serving as the natural spine that connects the buildings and shared spaces.
The multi-level, asymmetrical layout of the buildings, combined with the extensive use of natural materials - Parian marble gracing terraces, staircases, and interior communal areas, stone-paved pathways, and traditional stonework in low walls and surrounding structures - creates a sense of authenticity while seamlessly integrating with the Cycladic landscape.
At the base of the staircase lies the "village square," the heart of the complex, where all shared facilities converge, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the communal life of the village while enjoying the understated elegance of the architecture.
Where Tradition Meets Modern Luxury
A delicate balance between traditional design and contemporary comforts - expressed through its furnished marble terraces, stone-paved pathways and gardens filled with bougainvillea, lavender, rosemary, and olive trees - creates an atmosphere that invites guests to relax and immerse themselves in the sun, sea, and spirit of the Cyclades through the lens of architecture.
